OK, so I keep having issues. I have one little guy(Trin scorp) which looks like the leaves dried up. Any clues what's going on? My humidity was like 37% when I got home today from work so I'm thinking this was the issue but not sure. You think the fan dried them out?

I also added a timer. I'm doing 6am(on)-11pm(off). They seem to like the time off.

With the addition of the fan, I was able to recover 2 out of 3. The problem was definitely the heat. I sprayed a VERY weak Epsom solution at the base of them so we'll see if they make a full recovery. All 3 were Bhuts BTW. The Trinidads and Habaneros didn't seam to mind too much.

They look amazing! I wish mine looked as good as yours (thats what she said) lol I hope Spring comes early enough for you. They are really taking off!

I'm using this mixed with 1/4 mushroom compost. I took the pictures right after I watered them. The white particles is corn meal.

No bugs that I know of yet. The fan brought it down to 84. I have been watering using a spray bottle on top of the soil. I'm "guessing" the heat baked the little guys after I sprayed them down with the bottle. Also, I read somewhere on here ( I think Josh) that they may not be getting enough...

BTW, just added a fan because the temp got to about 90 degrees. Do you think the heat got to them?

3 of my seedlings have wilted, and I have no clue why. I recently transferred them to a new grow station using 4 T12 Daylight tubes. The soil I'm using is house brand potting soil (no fert). The others seem to be doing great. They are getting plenty of water and temperature is between 80-88...

Thanks SS! A few pieces of scrap wood hanging around the house, a little ingenuity and there you go. Problem solved. Lol. I decided to wait on the shelving since I think I might build it myself later. For now, I bought some longer chains for the lights. Should be good enough for now.

Well, I decided to build a bigger grow area. Nothing fancy. I went with 4 sunlight fluorescent lights (2250 lumens) since they were cheaper than the aquarium & plant ones. 4'X 2'X 4' frame. I should have plenty of room for a while now.

Our last frost is usually mid march, however it looks like spring may come earlier this year. Not sure I want to chuck the plants. May try selling I don't need. At Lowes right now seeing how I can expand cheaply

Thanks Skydiver! Yes it is!! I just didn't think I would germinate so many my first try. Just got my Douglah and Yellow Bhut seeds in yesterday. Debating on whether or not to plant them. Will definitely need more room..hmm..Decisions..decisions..

My plants are sprouting like mad now. Running out of room. May need to rethink my growing station. Any suggestions?

Interesting. I have been keeping my seedlings feet wet 24/7 for a week now, and they seam to be doing great. They are starting to grow their second set of leaves today. Will I hurt them in the long run by keeping them this way? I will remove the water asap if this is the case.

Well, I tried the baggy method until all seeds molded and were growing green fuzz on them. Maybe a week later. I used distiller water, however there must have been pre-existing mold spores on them. I should have did another trial run after soaking in hydro peroxide and tested again but I...

The only ones I'm concerned with are the Bhuts since everyone and their mother's uncle are selling them since it's the record holder. I wouldn't think there would be many fakes with scorps, 7 POTs or Douglahs since 99% of the general public doesn't know what that is! I could be wrong. We'll...
