Its been long time since I posted pics of my grow.
TLDR:
I transpanted 12 plants into 12 liter containers and all other in garden.
Habanero
Jalapeno
Padron
12 chosen ones
Great looking plants.
I am thinking about topping and stripping my chinense peppers ( JHC, Moruga and Jolokia) so they can develop more new side parts. But half of advices I got were dont do anything while other half were cut 70% of leaves off.
thx for big post man !
Well I asked question because Padron and Jalapeno are annuum type of peppers and they develop lot faster, while 3 which I mentioned few posts before (JHC, Moruga and Jolokia) are Chinense (slow progress).
2 weeks ago I cut some leaves from Pimento De Padron and Jalapeno plants to promote these new parts that are located on the side. Plants exploded after that and they are now big and dense.
Hi all
Here are few pictures of my Chinense peppers: JHC, Moruga and Jolokia.
My question is:
Should I cut off some leaves from these plants, so that these new parts of the plant that are located on the side can get more light and develop faster?
Padron started to form flower. I think I will remove it because all plants will go out permanently after 45 days. It's still cold outside.
What do you think ? Should I cut all flowers so plant can develop more on other parts?
Whole party inside freezer
Update:
Today I transplanted 10 peppers in larger container. I ran out of space in my house so new location (over night) for my peppers will be in the freezer (which is currently not in use). Seems like a great idea :P . I overlaid the inside of freezer with aluminum foil and put styrofoam on...
Few of my plants have some strange reddish color on 1 leaf while all all other leaves are fine. You guys know reason maybe ?
Here is photo of 1 leaf on my Moruga (no flash):

Jolokia:
My Padron is getting bigger and my question is should I leave or remove this parts...
Early May is when I am planning to put them outside.
The weather varies too much before May and sometimes in April frost appears in the morning which can kill my plants.
They are growing fast. Some plants are really big (Jalapenos and Padrons) and some are small (Hot ones) but dense so I need to lean my fluo light so all plants can be at same distance from light source.
Today was warm sunny day so I took them outside.
JHC
JOLO
MORUGA
PADRON
Forgot to take picture of Jalapenos, but on first picture they are biggest ones.
