    Pepper ID and confirmation

Bishop's crown ripens to red, this one looks like a white chili. Could very well be Aji White Fantasy, from what I can see online. Third reminds me of this: http://thehotpepper.com/topic/47226-unknown-peruvian-jungle-pepper-found-in-the-amazon-aji-maqusari/page-2#entry1558713   Also, what is the...

    THRIPS!!

Definitely not harmless. I took care of them with a Neem solution, but they are so tiny and hide so well that it takes quite a few applications to get them under control (especially since we've had a very rainy summer). Make sure to spray well inside the flowers, on any new and forming growth...

pests Help with pests in plant

Images in the first post are definitely aphids. Lots of ways you can go about dealing with them. I've sprayed them with a Neem solution and it worked great, don't have experience with other methods. Picture in #3 could be whiteflies, but it's hard to be certain without a clear shot. Try catching...

    pests Friend or pest?

Pretty sure it's a pest, looks like a moth caterpillar. This would be my guess (Hyphantria cunea): https://bugguide.net/node/view/658178 https://bugguide.net/node/view/527038

    Why will it not grow?

    Partial shade, I'd guess.

container Mycorrhizal fungi in container growing

How important are mycorrhizal fungi in container growing (mainly asking about inoculation, as opposed to what already might be present)? I've done a few hours worth of reading on the subject, but it's quite extensive. Most companies selling their products containing these fungi lead you to...

    seeds Can I Germinate Them?

I think what he's asking is if anybody germinates fresh seeds.   "sip on the water used for soaking overnight" as in drink it instead of soaking the seeds in it  :P

    Can anyone identify this pepper?

What happened there?   Anyway, this is the IDing sub-forum: http://thehotpepper.com/forum/120-pepper-id/   Edit: Looks like you've fixed it.

Or give them a spray with insecticidal soap. A small piece of castile soap blended with two cups of water and sprayed on the little bastards worked great for me. They were dead in seconds, and plants didn't seem to mind it at all.

    pests Green bugs ID

These are commonly called greenflies. What did the other ones look like? Are you sure they were aphids?

Aphids. Kill them with fire.   Or neem.

    Why will it not grow?

I like the little thing solid7 and lek have going on. They're like a comedy duo.

pests What kind of bug is this???

Not sure, but looks like a leafhopper. If it is, you don't want it near your plants. Doesn't look like anything beneficial that I know of.

    C. chinense dropping pods

That's why I've mentioned reading around. I'm pretty much certain that the flowers are dropping because they're not getting pollinated. However, I didn't find a proper reason or solution for stamens without pollen, other than the consistent "wait". I won't look for potential problems for...
