Thanks for the encouragement guys. I've always been put off by the time needed for all grain brewing. 2 hours of an evening is hard enough to come by for the extract brews, never mind several hours. Guess I'll have to send the wife and kids away for a day!

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

That's great Charles, thanks!   Excellent. Thanks Rick.  Nice one Paul. Best of luck for the season! Well. Most spare plants are gone now. I always feel nervous after the last cull/giveaway, in case something happens to my one remaining plant of each variety. They are almost all a good size...

Are you dismissing all extract kits as rubbish? They were meant to be a stepping stone for me from Full Kits to All Grain. May have to make that jump sooner than I thought.

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

Cheers Devv. Neither can I. Temperature went up to 15 Celsius today, so hopefully winter is over. Need to get the greenhouse cleaned and up and running now.    Thanks Paul. Where in the UK are you? Are you on the UK forum (ChilliesGalore)?   So am I Charles. Hope I can do it justice. Thanks again!

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

They are two of Stefan's Pimenta Lisa. Dark Purple, almost black leaves.    Cajamarca   Spicegeist's Frutescens Cross. Thanks again Charles!   Pickersgill's Orange   Elysium Oxide Bonnet is by far the more vigourous of the bunch:

    Jamison 2015

The Cabai Burung Ungu look unreal. Definitely one for next year's growlist. Love the look of those Bahamian Goat as well. Growing them for the first time this year, hopefully mine turn out like that!!

    Essegi 2015

Nice photos Essegi. I particularly like the Fig bud. I love figs, but difficult to find good ones in Ireland. I've never seen a growbag designed for Peppers. Hope it works out for you.

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

Thanks PaulS. I've culled some plants to let some light in!! ;)       Thanks Essegi. I got the seeds for the Giant Mexican in a seed swap. We'll see how it does. Usually I dont get pubescens fruit until the second year.  A progress report on my soil grown chinense and frutescens plants:    Chose...

Congratulations on your win. I made an Irish Stout Extract Kit recently. This one: http://www.brupaks.com/bchoice%20stout.htm   Far too light to be honest. Needed more bitterness as well. It loses all flavour when served straight from the fridge, but isn't great even when sat at room...

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

Thanks Noah, hope they survive. Not in the clear yet.      Thanks Rick. Not had great germination with the wilds, and when I did get a Flexuosum and Tovari 2 weeks ago, they dried out after I was away for a few days.  Best of luck with the Chacoense. I have one left out in the greenhouse...

    Stickman's 2015 - That's All She Wrote...

Plants looking good Rick. I grew Syrian Marjoram (Origanum syriacum) last year. I've kept the plant dry in an unheated greenhouse this year. Hope it pulls through. The plant is also known as Za'atar as far as I know.

NIce Denniz. What did your friend make for you? Your Plumerias are doing well. Beautiful plants. As much as I'd love to grow them, they wouldn't suit the Irish climate.

    Devv's 2015 - 16, Life is good!

Great looking plants Devv. I envy you being able to put plants out in 10 days, even if it is a gamble. It's a year round gamble in terms of cold winds here on the West Coast of Ireland!!
