I tried a ripe one the other day, it had quite a bit of heat (made my eyes water for a few mins) but not overwhelming.

Very nice!   I'm glad that reaper is throwing off pods that don't resemble the hab looking one it came from. 

Sorry to hear about the pods, I had to cut that reaper plant down when we closed the Champaign store, it was just to big to move. I will send some seeds you way for sure.   Yeah the Cardinals are looking great so far. I'm getting to go to more games this year, which is nice since I missed going...

This plant is loaded with pods, so I will have plenty of seeds to send your way. 

I started a handful of these plants from seed out of a dried pod. One of the plants is throwing out very tall pods 2-3", while the others grew true.  Here are the pics, is it some sort of cross?     Here is what all the others look like.

I've been hearing about those broad mites from customers. From what they said they are even smaller than spider mites and you need something like a 100x microscope or stronger to see them? 

The yellow pods were bhuts, the red hab looking ones was the reaper. Both those plants grew crazy fast indoors.

Yeah it was very sad when they wouldn't fit in the truck. The immature pods on those 2 plants filled up 4 ziplock gallon bags, I did get about 1 bag of ripe pods between the 2 plants.

Thanks for this info, the older leaves are fine and the new growth on the bottom half of the plant seems normal. The top halfs new growth is still a little funky looking, but not as bad as when it 1st started.   Dan, I have had success using Mighty Wash against mites. Here is a cheap microscope...

I 1st thought mine was a mite problem (I have dealt with them bunches), but I have been checking with a 60x microscope daily since it started and nothing.

I was gonna start a thread like this as I have the same problem on my TS sunrise and my Peter outside, both in soil and coco. Not sure what it is, but started after all the rain.   I haven't had a lot of rain the last 2 weeks and they don't seem to be recovering. Sorry I couldn't be any help I...

Kind of forgot about this thread. We moved locations in Feb. and these plants were just too big to move. Here are the pictures of what they looked like at the end.    These were taken 2/6/13 plants were 5-6 months old.   Was a sad day when I cut them down.    My nephew ended up taking most...

I have tons of mature pods, none have started to change colors yet. Should be soon though.

No where near Scratch yet, but the last 10 days of nice weather has helped out a bunch. 30" tall now.  

Very nice Scratch!   For you guys that are trying to clone, do you use a dome? I have very good success using rapid rooters with a dome.

I finally got to feed my plants some nutrients this morning, hopefully the rain will stay away for a few days.

The 1st few episodes are kind of slow/confusing, but once you've gotten a few episodes in everything starts to make sense.
