Yeah i use 18 on my t5 for veg and I have my hps at 15 for flower. I was at 12 but flowers were dropping so I went to 15 and it seemed to help. It might depend on how strong the light is since mine is only 400watts a 1000watt might be able to do 12.

Had to look up that soil, not sure if i would use it again if you weren't happy with the results. Did you add any nutrients to the soil after a few weeks, that soil probably didn't have enough to last that long.

Thanks, I'm amazed by that plant. It is by far the nicest looking plant I've ever grown. Under those leaves there is a jungle of new growth. Tough to get a clear picture under the leaves, but here is the base of the stem were most of the new growth started.
