ohio yes but you have to take them in when temp go below 40. you can plant them in 15 gallon pots (2-4 per pot) with a good rich draining soil if you make a sturdy trellis for it you can easily move it indoors for winterhttp://youtu.be/vnP5iOozx48

 you should cut all new side growth to promote upwards growth. Once they get 4-6 ft you are supposed to cut the top off 3-6 inches this promotes the branching out at the top.

Those are some great pods there. Whoever gets them would not be disappointed
