Ive used Clonex before with eddibles with no negative effects. By the time the plant fruits I doubt hardly any of whats in the clonex will be around anmore. You could also try the powder type rooting hormone. But Ive had less sucess with these.

Well when I bought them they were around $90 Amazon has them now for just under $65 a piece and it comes with a decent height adjustment kit.
