Had all of the fruits on your plant been that colour then you would have a chance of seeing that colour in the next generation. The selection of traits is made across the entire plant. Hence I don't like your chances of seeing the same colour again.
In regards to the name there is already a...
All the brown varieties I have grown went from green to brown before moving onto a red tint. What you have is most unlikely to turn brown after orange/red.
The fertiliser I've been using at quarter strength in rain water lately has an NPK of 14:7:24. I have soaked one of my red Rocoto pots in half strength after it sat idle while other Rocoto plants showed progress. My goal is to replenishing the nutrients in the mix but not burn the plants.

I've learnt through experience not to prune my plants when they are inactive. I wait for the regrowth to begin first and prefer to prune near knots where the branches are less hollow.
I'm back to fertilising my over wintered plants with each watering as they depleted some of the nutrients...
What was the origin of the strain you grew?
The strain I grew produced pods that had no citrus hint and were nasty taste wise grown in my particular conditions.
The comments are in the review by MMcDermott on youtube.
Slicing the pod open to inspect the inside before eating it would have been a good idea during the review.
I remember a post that mentioned using Yellow 7s in place of Bonnets flavour wise. At least what you have is on the right track flavour wise.
I still a BonNot plant of the wrong Capsicum species from 2010. The vendor probably had never actually tasted a Scotch Bonnet.
The 4-lobed cup and saucer shape seems to be more difficult to come by. Peppermania's photos of the Foodorama Scotch Bonnet can be seen in http://thehotpepper.com/topic/17486-scotch-bonnet-varieties/page-3#entry379126 .
They appear to be repeat offenders when it comes to selling Jamaican Mushroom types as Scotch Bonnet. The photo on their site actually matches how your plant grew it. The catch as you know was that it wasn't Scotch Bonnet. In the Trade WInds Fruit Vendor Vault thread you posted right below my...
Is the 9-9-7 fertiliser that you have been using not available? I reiterate if something has been working well for you with your choice of medium then stick to it if possible.
