Nope - they just started stocking it. I thought it was an error, too. Picked up 4 bales, going back for more.
:fireball:
Two Bales were enough for ~12 five gallon smart pots.
He'll be back.
Without an audience he's nothing. There may be other sites, but this one has the largest and most informed users. Even idiots like to be critiqued by knowlegeable individuals.
Menards has the Pro-mix potting soil for $13.99 / four cubic ft bale - compressed.
So far my transplants LOVE it. Within one week they've doubled in size.
I will PM you. For you - they are free - maybe trade, I'm sure you have something that interests me. The red brains are germinating over 75% after three weeks.
I wouldn't go out of my way to stress out your plants and run the risk of lower (or no) pod production. Just by growing the superhots, you will get plenty of burn.
I still have some superhots popping that were planted over a month ago. Others of the same type popped within a few days under the same conditions. Go figure.
I just transplanted some month old plants that are in jiffy pellets. Some had two plants per pellet and I successfully separated them, with both surviving. They looked stressed and droopy for a day or so, but have sprung back - can't tell them from those that were singles.
SHU standard would assist in validation the test. Running the same standard at each facility would ensure the testing equipment gives results within a margin of error.
I have some questions.
Has the HPLC equipment at each lab been maintained and calibrated under the same protocols?
If so, has the test for Scoville Heat Units been validated?
Did they validate the cleaning procedure between each test?
Sorry, but I have a pharmaceutical manufacturing background...
Try on both during the same growing season. That way you can find out what the differences are as they potentially would be growing under the same conditions.
