They are red as ripen. They sure do look good, and the plant get huge. Filled with pods. I dident like the taste at all, but this year i gonna try make some powder or flakes see how it taste. //Oscar

Jalapeno Hercules i like, dont know if its a hybird or not but the 2nd gen seeds produce same pods good for me ;) I got seeds if you want to try out. Next year i will try Jumbo Jalapeno, check midas grow thread for pictures of them. //Oscar

Whats the diff between a green pod and a ripen. Mainly taste and heat i guess. So that will be the different when you dry green chilis. But i have never tested it, but i think i will try this on "Champion" as its quite tasty as green. //Oscar

Sounds good i will try it out and see how it goes. Its about the flower anyday now so will move it inside before it does so i can get some isolated seeds. I had a bad Superhot season this year so i need to finish them all off inside.

By shape they look like inca red drop but they look a bit big? Whats the size of those? The two inca red drops i have been growing (2 diff sources) are around 2-3cm long and 1cm wide. But the shape is very look a like for sure so could be some big ones! ;)

Looks a bit like hungarian yellow wax or some sort of banana pepper. If it is i love to fry them in the pan with a bit of salt and oil. Nice looking anyway ;)
