Thanks, they're all grown from seed... don't worry about pestering Malarky, I've been really negligent with my pepper communications, but I'll be checking and responding now.
I'll take a pic later today... I forget what kind of lights I even have, lol, I just set it up and let it do it's thing... too many things to juggle in my mind...
I'll post a pic later, but for now wanted to ask if anyone who's been in contact with me (either via messaging or posting on at least last year's glog) is still starting C. chinense and would like anything from me. Let me know and I can get it out to you this weekend.
Snow last night, sledding adventure today:
Overwintering some Bhuts:
Cat lurking in the grow closet:
My 12 Bhuts, 37 days after the pic in the first post:
I should probably manage my messages. My apologies if I haven't responded to anyone reading this, I go through periods of non-responsiveness. I do have a few varieties I wouldn't mind seeing other people with glogs grow out...
Haha, funny. Mostly when I talk about Bhut Jolokias people just roll their eyes, odd bunch around here aren't we?
I just have to try to avoid spending too much time looking at my seed stash... I was thinking of growing some peach crosses I made, etc. etc..
Patience, patience, I'll let the pods speak for themselves when the time comes ;) .
Thanks Chuck, thanks Datil!
Maybe... I germinated these fresh from the pods just to see how fast they'd come up. But looking back at my 2016 glog, I already had things going at this time last year.
Besides my [not insignificant] overwinters and plants I already have going, I may only start these twelve seedlings of my absolute favorite bhut and bhut crosses:
I do love the bhuts. Rick grew Guwahati Bhuts, but I don't know if I sent him GuwaX seed... I did share F1 or F2 seed with a few people, but I forget who...
Remaining plants on the patio:
Looks like we might get our first freeze here on Saturday, November 12:
I’ll see how I feel then, whether or not I’ll bring any plants in for that night.
