Picked some Pink Tigers yesterday: Turned them to powder, here’s the color: Harvested some of my favorite C. frutescens today, will dry these shortly.  They make great flakes in my opinion: Up close:

I know there is research suggesting that bhuts are a kind of chinense/frutescens hybrid, but I think they are distinct enough to be a different species, at least a subspecies.

  They were ok... doesn't compare to bhut flakes.     This year, probably my regular Red Bhuts or the Impact Bhuts... "My Bhuts" are nice too... I mean they're all fun :)     Mutant Bhut   Handful of Bhuts:   Bhut Jolokias, drawing from 1838:

  It is very fun and unique.  I don't know why we don't see more of it, maybe you're right about the superhots.   I have saved seed, but I'm not growing it this year.  I may grow it next year... still in the planing phases.  And then there's that little fantasy of not growing anything at all!

[[Chiltepin x Chintexle] x C. galapagoense] x Negro de Valle Took all the seeds out.  These were very juicy. They are now in the dehydrator, I normally wouldn’t bother with so few, but this is just so unique, I really want to taste these flakes.

  The genes in this are all over the place, I hesitate to grow the next generation out.  They could range from tiny chiltepin sized pods to larger Negro de Valle sized pods... I'd have to have a lot of plants, and I really don't have the space.   Red Bhuts: Special Assam Bhut pod...

Really fun crosses.  You can tell that one has Pimenta Morango in it...

That's cool you can find them where you live.  The bhut plant looks good, you might be right about the other, could be a Dorset Naga or a cross with something else...
