Welcome back, and here's hoping this year is better. If you're looking for a sweet pepper, I'm a fan of the Giant Marconi. They're pretty easy to get at home depot, they're huge, and I've had really good results growing them at home. Never had a bell give me more than one or two pods...

Two baby bhuts and a Barrackpore. Gave them a one time big dose of epsom salts, 4tbsp in a half gallon of water, nice foliar spray for everything. Much greener, less leaf curl, I'm about a month or so behind where I was last year at this time, but it's all good. Also picking off damaged...

In their new comfy cozy home. There's another shelf right above where the pic cuts out, I'm going to see about attaching a few grow lights there. Not a lot of plants, but then again I don't have a lot of garden space. I am jealous as hell of people with tons of room and would love to grow...

Well, the basement just wasn't cutting it this year. I rearranged a bunch of stuff in my closet and moved my things there. I now have: Light Heat and maybe more importantly, proper airflow. Going to an e-reader and packing all my books up created a nice bit of room on one of the shelves...

Searched without any luck, has anyone ever attempted to make pepper scented candles? I'm thinking that a bhut scented candle might be pretty nice. Maybe an orange or choccy hab. On my desk I'm looking at a cranberry, a black cherry, and a vanilla candle. Why not peppers? Do candles think...

I don't think you'd need to protect every single plant if you're going for isolated seed. Pick one or two plants of each variety you want to protect and use them for seed stock. A handful of peppers from each should provide enough unless you're going commercial, then I have no clue.

Flowers and pumpkins and healthy pepper plants, love it, mate. makes winter up here a bit easier to tolerate.

I'd give them a little more time before transplanting them up to larger cups. Maybe let them get a few sets of true leaves.

The egg cartons you are using, are they cardboard or styrofoam? Cardboard ones, you really have to watch out for the roots when you're transplanting them. The Momster does most of her stuff in cardboard egg cartons, and I've found that soaking the everloving crap out of them to the point where...
