Seem to be a bit greener and bigger overall, also noticing much less flower drop. The Plant-tone is also making the Momster's pumpkins and cucumbers and watermelons go nuts. I found some Tomato-tone, btw. Going to start using that stuff when the next fertilizers are due.

Antillais Caribbean Habanero is absolutely dripping with pods. Chocolate Habanero plants are all doing pretty darned well, too. Which is awesome, only have to look at them to rid myself of the remorse I feel for not growing any orange habs this year. I said I wouldn't and I stuck to it...

Heh, yeah. I'm fairly afraid of what it's going to be like when I eat one of those beauts. Pod Porn time! 7 Pot Yellow pods. Different shapes, different sizes, bumpy and gnarly looking, and loads of them on the plant. woot 7 Pot Jonah is also fairly full of pods.

ATTN: If I sent you Aribibi Gusano seeds

I'm not sure who I sent any of those seeds to, but they aren't growing true for me. This is a pic of the pepper that's growing on the plant I grew from the seeds I collected from last year. Does not look like what I remember. This is a pic of the entire plant. The leaves are much larger...

Habanero with 100+ peppers, 3 weeks from first bloom.

Heh. I'm probably going to try for more than just two when the season is winding down (my bhut made it to around a month before it could have gone outside before dying). If I could have a plant like that with that many chocolate habs on it, I'd be in heaven.

Habanero with 100+ peppers, 3 weeks from first bloom.

Apparently that's normal for overwintered plants, they're supposed to be crazy full of pods the second year from what I've read. Looks like it's doing pretty well. Leaves look normal, stem looks ok, my trinidad scorpion I OW'd looks similar. Stay the course and enjoy the bounty, imo.

I have a hunch that these arent bhut jolokias.. :-(

I had some gnarly looking bhuts last year, too. Wait till they ripen up and see.

7 Pot Barrackpore finally showing some pod action. Woot. My "Yellow" bed. From left to right: Devil's Tongue Yellow, Fatalii, that frakkin tomato plant, Yellow Scorpion CARDI, and a Jaloro. The tomato in the middle is a Better Boy Hybrid. I originally planted it thinking to provide some...

    Green vs. Red

This. It's economics, pure and simple. It's also good to look into home canning. Once you get the hang of it and can do it with certainty of safety, grow as much as you're able to then can the rest. You won't have "straight from the plant" freshness, but it will be far superior to most of...

    I lol'd a bit, but then I serious'd. Sorry about the pod.

    Damaged Leaves

I would at least remove that one that's all brown and splotchy. That's like an open sore on your plant, and could allow an infection to set in.

What you may want to try if your plants aren't getting enough water d/t the plastic mulch/downhill grade/whatev: Get a bunch of empty 2 liter soda bottles, cut the bottoms of them off, poke holes in the sides, and bury them every so often in your garden. It's a bit of a pain to fill each bottle...

Almost forgot. Reject's Row East. I have no idea what the three peppers are but they're doing pretty well considering. They're in full shade. They get only what water I remember to hose them with. No additional fertilizer. They're growing in a mixture of pine needles and 10 year old dog...

More 7 Pot Yellows developing. First Red Savina of the year. Fairly excited about these. Hope they taste as good as Hippy made them sound in his vid (which is still my fave of all your vids, mate.) Chocolate Habaneros on one of my other plants. These guys are growing fast, and hopefully...

7 Pot Barrackpore, no pods yet but tons and tons of nodes with four flowers each on the plant. Shouldn't be long now. 7 Pot Jonah has a ton of fruit on it. Big 7 Pot Jonah. Hopefully these are tasty, looks like I may have a fair bit of em. This 7 Pot Yellow is really starting to scare...
