I have yet to grow any sweet peppers, but Ive had some very tasty store bought sweet peppers. The ones that come in their own bag, small, typically red/yellow/orange in the bag. Some of them were incredibly sweet and fruity.   I plan on growing a lot more mild and sweet varieties next year..

If you were trying to create your own strain how many seeds would you plant each generation to try to find the 'best' phenotypes(?) to grow? Would that number stay the same for each generation?   Also, would you use all the seeds from 1 pod, or would you try to do multiple crosses(same2 plants)...
