...well, I think we've only had like 1" of rain here since October, and as logchief can verify about half the state either has burned or is burning. We've had wind blowing between 10mph and 25mph today... which would be bad news if a single spark jumped out of the pit, so just not worth the risk... -

...just hopeing the electricity stays on the rest of the evening. The whole neighborhood's juice has been knocked out three times already... we have a gas stove, but darn sure not gonna have burners going with no a/c as the house would quickly match the outside temps (100°F + right now)... -
