Also since wheebz has not responded yet to the POL, My 'whatever beer' for this month is my experimental attempt at a smoked rye pale ale and will be using the 10 cents again as my POL        

  What is going to be the POL for the 'everyone can brew whatever' beer and for the RIS?

 

  Does this mean we can do our RIS now for January or does the more time mean that we can start January 1st if we want since we know ahead of time what the style will be I guess I am out for this one.  Can't stand the holiday spiced beers and also can't stand Belgian beers

With a 3 week turnaround, I will be wanting to brew this sometime next week so not to push the button too early but what will be the POL for this one? 

Any thoughts yet for December's BrewDown?

The thing I like best about the brew TD is that it is expanding my brewing horizons.  I am still relatively new and have a few styles that I brew fairly often because that is what I like to drink.  This gets me to think and brew outside of my 'box' which I like the challenge of, just like ozzy. ...
