Plants are looking just fine Erv!   We always try to pick the cukes and squash varieties when they are a bit small, before the seed cavity gets that jelly type consistency. With so many types out there one has to experiment until they understand the fruits.

We went nuts, planted before all the lock downs, the 1st of March.   80 plants, mainly to can for making the Italian Red Gravy. But now the Grandkids aren't coming over and demolishing the sauce. There's another 30-35 quarts out there and then there will be a ton of green maters. I'll have...

Thank you all very much!   COVID is here in our town now, we have 3 cases, plus I was told a family that we know just tested positive. I'm sure the numbers will go up. I'm all for opening things back up, or go broke/crazy. And I see a lot of crazy on the news...biting my tongue, I will behave...

Mine this year are going even lighter in color as they get really ripe. Nice specimen ;)

We're currently having temps @ 22-35° here. I just did something I've never done, and that is start peppers in early summer (no travel with COVID). I germinated outside in the shade, moved to East sun until true leaves came in. And then out there in full sun.   Good luck with your grow!

Here, I'm lucky, most years I don't get a decent crop before the heat shuts them down. So I've been starting earlier to have them ready to flower ASAP. Working for once :shh:
