Damn! I was hoping that new growth was a sign of root development. I'll have to keep an eye on it and check to see if there's any roots coming out of the drain holes. I've been adding a little CalMag and Liquid Seaweed to the water about once a week. Thanks for the info!

Here's what I believe is two Cayennes growing off of one pod. When I first spotted it a couple months ago it was two peppers, but now it seems like it fused into one.

Welcome! My Scorpion plant did the same thing for a few weeks, I have a few pods now though.

Nothing special, but I'm proud of my first ripe Cayennes. I'm now hooked, so I purchased a few different varieties of pepper seeds for next year. Edit : Not sure why the picture uploaded sideways.
