I wonder if they all could have originated in Venenzuela? trinidad is right off the coast. maybe the natives who came from the mainland, brought different chilis with them. or even birds could have dropped off the seeds and the developed in isolation. what are some of your theories?

NMSU chili pepper institutes seeds r reliable. I got 50 out of 60 nu mex hertiage chili plants to sprout..... now only if my butch scorps from the hippys were this germinable but maybe annums germ easier then chinse

it would be Nu mex heritage 6-4 the best tasting chili. Thiers only one chili thats new mexico chili!

ok these boys r just late sprouters now I got 4 of the worlds hottest. not a bad turn out so far. if I can just get 1- 15 i will be a happy camper. time to have the whole nieghborhood's mouths on fire.

ull have to grow it to find out. parent was a jalapeno other was a jolokia. got plenty of them Just dont got no room to be growing new plants. have over 30. this is a lot for an indoor wintering!

its all about good old new mexicos nice desert dry climate! and the soil! add water and you have the best chili growing enviroment!
