    JungleRain, Hot Chilli Sauce

Does not surprise me, he's certainly taking on a lot in a short period of time. By the looks of his grow logs, he's doing pretty damn well.

hydroponic Best place to order hydroponics supplys

What? I can't say I've had that experience. Weed growers would have to be one of the most advanced horticulturists out there. Even PhD in botany will tell you that. Don't get confused with the backyard startups that just pump out heaps of crap for a quick buck.

    Bokashi Bin

EM1 contains Lactobacillus casei, shouldn't that be enough? I've noticed Neil uses Bokashi composting a lot, do you know if his stinks? Aren't all the microorganisms in EM1 anaerobic? Why would a bin not be ideal? The bin simply pickles the waste, then it goes in the ground for a month and...

HPS or MH for full grown plants??

There's a lot of very positive feedback from people of "other" crops using the fancy new ceramic MH.

    Bokashi Bin

Hi, I have been using Bokashi bins for a year or so but I have never been able to get that pickled smell, mine always smells rancid. It's so bad now even if I soak it in chlorine bleach for a day, the smell remains in the bucket. I've checked there are no air leaks, the lid is placed on...

    Thinking of Going to Uni

I'm pretty sure I've settled on botany, mainly because I don't know what I want to do with a uni degree yet, so botany seems like the best choice. Cheers for the input.

This probably won't be fun to read..

Ahh, this old debate. Whilst HID is currently the most efficient lamp at converting W to lm, it produces a significant amount of heat. This heat means you have to place the lamp a fair bit away from the plant. Taking inverse-square law into consideration, there is a huge advantage in getting the...

I can't believe people haven't got into the high wattage CFLs around here. I bought a bunch off eBay and they're fantastic. The ones I got were EZI PLUG GROLITE. 130w CFL

why is my fatalli pepper plant wilting?

If it's anything like the awful last season here, I'd say your plants are trying to adapt to the huge climate changes (I mean local to your garden as a result of the storms; not end of the world stuff). From your normal climate to a monsoon and then back again. My whole garden couldn't work out...

Damn S.S.Tupperware, you miss out on the rotting meat smell, I love them, there's just something special about a horrid smelling flower.

do peppers produce more in thwe second year.

I've discovered if I put my pots on CCA treated pine, the ants don't come. Plus you can keep the roots warmer as the pots aren't sitting directly on the cold concrete.

Can anyone ID these tiny cone shaped peppers?

I have something that looks like those, my label says Naga - Clearly not a naga, bush turkeys must have moved some labels around on me. I was guessing Tepin for mine.

    Mean looking Kaffir lime fruit.

Do you not have to graft to a vigorous rootstock with Kaffir limes, like you do with other citrus?
