We're in for some warming at the beginning of the week, but then it give it all back by the end. So planning is tricky. I hope you have a place to take in your plants!
Plants look good Matt. I chose to limit fertilizing as I do not have the space to up pot. Your plants are definitely robust and ready to flower. The mini green house I set up is still to cool at night for me to bring the plants out for at least another week. Have you been able to bring your...
It ain't much but it is something. I'm working with about 17x4ft. approx. I will be monitoring the night temperatures in this thing as we are hanging around -3c. Once I can regulate the afternoon temps as this thing just bakes on south facing I will start the hardening process. It should have...
That is a very professional looking system you have there. Plants look good. I'm considering moving into 10 gallon pots myself but wasn't sure if the 15 gallon size was worth the expense.
Your plants look good but I'm not sure if they could handle another month in their current pots. I considered starting in January this year but decided against it because I have less growing spacing than you do Matt.
My Sugar Rush Peach have buds too. 2 of them. Maybe they are just buds. lol
I always keep an eye out for early blooming plants. Keep us posted and maybe such an animal will have a place in a northern garden!
Pepper update. Final seeding of annuums finished last week. I had to trim some of the habaneros to fit under the light. One new variety is already flowering. Managing different heights of plants is a pain but so far I am keeping up with it.
This marks 4 weeks since planted. The habaneros are leading everything else. Should I go one or two more weeks before trimming to encourage side growth?
I find the sun's rays change measurably come April 1st. The plants take off and reach for the window light regardless of what light I have overhead. Somehow I think the plant senses the strengthening rays of natural light and it knows what it wants.
