hi hinky i have a fan, and the problem is cold not warm soo i dont have the fan on for long because it puts the temp even lower than it already is, my small led board is fine as it sits beside a pc so that keep them warm but as i say i have not had any flower drop as of yet. you can see the fan...

yeh same, the only problem i am finding is controling the temp, not had any flower drop yet tho so thats a good sign i guess.

also for got to add one of my dorset nagas has devloped wee chillis soo we will see what happens with that

well as every ones showing there led light i thoght i would add mine ill just add afew pics as you can only add 4 at a time :shocked: here is my small board 48 leds and all fatali yellow and one aji cristal heres my big board this ones a red and blue mix took me 8 hours to make theres a 7 pod...

they look good i would put the led closer to the plants mind you

yeh same with mine mine give off no heat what so ever, the resistors get a little hot to touch but thats about it

how much powers your traffic light drawing ?

yeh theres time involved i dont know how long my small board took me but the big one took me about 8 solid hours, personally i dont think you can buy led grow lights off the shelf that are as bright as the ones that can be made yourself and i did not mind soldering mine up i think it was worth...

there is 150 10mm leds over the 2 boards it cost me about £35 for the leds and i got the mdf and the wire for nothing so its not to bad and both boards only use 10 watts

hi well i bought leds at the right wavelength and the brightest i could find them in that wavelength,the blues are 130,000mcd and the reds are 150,000mcd and i made the board out of mdf and i run them off a 12v transformer and you solder them up and depending on the leds you will need certain...

yeh they look good, there seems to be alot of leds about iv made up a few of my own boards, the first is just blue for seedlings and the second is a mix of red and blue for adult plants.
