    water Too little water or too much?

      No, not really, you can transplant them when they only have their cotyledon leaves. I have done it many times, not only on pepper plants, but on other varieties as well.

    You are giving them too much water. Do you have enough drainage on the bottom of those cups? Adding 1 or 2 more fluorescents and putting them a little closer won't hurt either. They will be able to consume a bit more water with more light.

    Although pepper plants generally prefer very little water, from the looks of your soil, it appears to be too dry for seedlings. What type of light are you using, and what is the wattage?? Generally fluorescent bulbs don't produce enough heat to burn the plants, however, if they are metal halide...

    Another unknown pepper.

      Unfortunately I did not photograph the seeds, however, I remember them being brownish black. I just looked up the rocoto on google, and it's a match! Thanks! Seedlings below

    Another unknown pepper.

    Here is a similar one that I wanted identified as well (the lone red pepper at bottom). I bought this from a street vendor. The vendor said it was grown in Bolivia. I have 2 seedlings growing from it. This one was very sweet and, in my opinion, quite hot. Can anyone chime in please?
