    My insane Pequin plant.

Very high actually. Just the right amount of heat that you can pop one in your mouth with your food. Easy to grow and productive!

    Caterpillars destroyed both jalapeƱos

Hornworm. Actually a caterpillar. They will destroy everything with no mercy. You have to look close for them. Just found one on my chocolate hab. Fortunately, I dispatched it before any damage could be done.

Can't keep up with this thing. 40-50 ripe pods everyday. Started this one in a container but then, in-ground. 3 year old and non-stop producer every season :-) Duplicate post. Sorry!

in-ground In ground - Flat or hills?

I live at the base of our local mountains so each house is basically terraced. I cut into my backyard hill and did the terrace thing for my Tabasco, corn, artichoke, and eggplant. Drains nice north to south and plants seem to like it.

Hornworm on Chocolate Hab...no longer with us.

I will use BT but as a last resort. I visually inspect my plants often.. I found they like certain plants. Never found them on my Scorpions.

Hornworm on Chocolate Hab...no longer with us.

Bumper, they turn into a beautiful moth actually. Unfortunately, he's not getting the chance. I usually go out at night when I get home from work with a flashlight. Make sure to look under the leaves for white eggs.

Hornworm on Chocolate Hab...no longer with us.

Took shears and cut him in half. Had these pests on my plants a few years ago..not happening again. If you see them, remove and destroy every one otherwise, your plants are done.
