. I didn't see the need until this year. Adding a thermostat to my heat pad literally made the biggest difference out of everything I changed this year. Unbelievable germination rates once I locked in 85 degrees. I'm using a herpstat 2 controlling two pads

Cheapest I've found. And lasted real well for me too. Under 2 bucks each for what you are asking for. And slightly over two bucks for the larger one. This place rocks.
Nice lineup there! Had a red Moruga Brains last year that was the best Red superhot I had going. Super crinkly with a solid core. Butch has really been playing with some bangers in his breeding projects lately. While everyone seems to be getting distracted with other directions, he's...
Yes I would think that too. But seems larger farmers are using them for good reason. The second link I posted shows how he uses a capillary mat to water. It's new to me so I'm still learning a lot. It seems to solve a lot of problems I have with the germination stage. I'm going to demo them...
I know Butch T seed releases tend to be low profile but I'm surprised I haven't seen any talk about this new previously unreleased pepper especially since his recent stuff has been so groundbreaking. Anyone have experience with this pepper? One of the few Reds I'm testing this season so any...
Never had much luck with peat pots for peppers. I buy peat and perlite mix them together with water then put it like a cake in a tray. Lay the seeds on top and put peat over that. Loose and aerated yet moist is what you're aim for. Slightly pat it down to give the seeds something to leverage...
Fabric all day long lol. I was a big fan of quality injection molded pots before I tried felt. 3 bucks for a 20 gallon allowed me to grow a lot more peppers too. Soil become my biggest cost.
Some of the darker browns also bubblegum is an extra tasty but not overly floral. Grow out a lot of every type...there's always differences in seeds. Had a few different flavors in a box that was all Chocolate Trinidad Scorpions in the past week. So many different flavors within the same type...
I got a bunch of stuff from whitehotpeppers as well. Including their CPR pheno which looked nice. Excited about their superhot Congo as well. Guess we'll see which ends up being the best by the end. Seems like we are both searching for similar peppers.
The burn! Everything else takes a back seat but loving the flavors along the way. It's been like taking the scenic route trying to find the ultimate burn. Totally believe the flavors are deeper, denser and more complex in the peppers with a hotter and better quality of burn. So it's a...
All the BTRs I grew last year just couldn't handle my harsh growing conditions. But then again I got them as seedlings but from three different Breeders last year. Not one survived. I'm hoping the WAL 7 is even hotter since I am trying those out this year.
As far as the hottest thing I'm growing. Who knows I always grow for heat and am often surprised as which end up being the hottest by the end of the season. I had some real bangers last year that seeds are definitely getting grown again. A super nice UV Moruga Chocolate and a Moruga shaped...
Last year I grew out a ton of plants. I always grow superhots and just love everything about them. I especially love the dark colored flavors only found in pure Mahogany colored pods with no traces of red mixed in. I feel the burn of these are better as well. The problem is finding enough...
I had a Choc Bhutlah CS with more of a mini Moruga shape that is definitely getting grown out again due to tremendous heat. A lot were hot but that one gave me confidence in the Bhutlah genepool. Then again I grew countless Bhutlahs to find one like that. Hope the heat stays in the line.
