Hey guys.
I'm growing some palmero this year and was super excited because the plant is heavy with fruit.
However this morning I noticed half a dozen fruit went soft and wrinkly before they ripen. Kinda like when you leave a Pepper in the fridge too long and it goes wrinkly.
I cut one...
Thank you!
Actually I have 3 more videos from last year I think... They got lost and forgotten for some reason!
Then I'll be doing reviews from this season, too.
Thank you.
I try to taste chillies from a beer judge perspective, which allows plenty of profiles.
I was tired of just videos where the person goes 'its really hot' and swears a ton, so i did the opposite.
This is a chilli (of many) that i grew last year and didnt get round to uploading my test (work got busy).
Enjoy!

Looks awesome, Rick!
I miss having some gochu plants around, i definitely want to try some different varieties in the future. The ones i grew two years ago were monsters
Thanks!
It is meant to be a hot summer this year. i put in the supports for shade nets earlier (dont need the nets just yet). And i managed to gind a tea bush whilst at the home centre - i've wanted one for years, but not found them over here. Busy day outside
I've not posted much this year. My chillies had a slow start and i wasn't so proud of them.
It's all catching up now, though.

well that doent sound like a problem, at least they germinated
im honestly a bit pissed off cause i allocated space for them and i expect to get at least 1 of each variety. too late for me to start anything but annum
Sounds like a few people having the same problem. i haven't given up yet.
I just threw a few on coffee filters in a baggie to try germinate those too. not given up yet though
Has anyone had problems with germinating Datil?
I have had really good Germination rates on all varieties but Datil just won't sprout. I've done two flights of seeds too, and nothing.
Are they a particularly difficult or lengthy Germination?
I really want to grow them this year and time is...
Been a while since I updated.
Grow is going well.

those plants look pretty good in fairness. some kelp emulsion would help them in my opinion, but honestly they aren't exactly suffering and you could keep doing what you're doing and have great results once you get them planted outside
sounds like you are overwatering them to be honest. lack of calcium isn't gonna cause leaf drop either.
'lower leaf drop' is pretty standard as they grow up/
Although you say you arent overwatering, your plants are showing classic signs of it and i don't think throwing nutes on them are gonna...
Not tried the BOC, I started some last year but they died.
I put a tiny bit of mykos in the hole with the seed, and add more later on when I transfer. I had really healthy roots last year

Yes. I have a few reviews from last year which I'm yet to edit and will have new ones this year.
Sadly I had some health issues in 2015 and was banned to eat spicy food whilst a lot of pods ripened. And heat tolerance went down, so some of the pods I grew never got tested. 2016 I plan to be...
