Not that I am perfect on this but,, you turn the compost only when it cools down and needs more air. Stick a soil thermometer in it and keep the pile moist (after making it with the correct brown and green ratio), then turn when the temp comes down. Per Steve Solomon.

Sure I use pee in the garden- mixed with 20 parts water. Keeps critters away. But I would NOT use it on peppers because it is too high in nitrogen.

Watch for aphids under row covers. I have had that before. It seems like they can get stressed from heat and you don't notice the aphids. I have not had problems with my lady bugs leaving but I do tend a half acre garden.

Yes I hadn't noticed the difference in the OP pic until I took this pic. I definitely have lady bugs. I haven't seen lacewings but it is funny the babies look so much alike. I am looking forward to seeing their progress on the aphids tomorrow.

Yes. I had tons on my aphid infested peps and eggs today. I have never seen so many. The aphids were way reduced and almost gone.

Update. I found the aphids Sunday and sprayed with the hose real hard. There were lady bugs so I didn't want to use any pesticide. Today there were way fewer aphids! and tons of lady bugs in all stages of life! What a blessing. I didn't have to order more since mine have been procreating like...

Do you worry about rules and regullations when selling stuff? I sell at market and we have been left alone pretty much but you never know when a state inspector will call you on dried stuff or certain canned things. If I wanted to sell dried pods online what would I need to know?
