container Reusing compost in a container

At the end of the season, I pull whatever plants that I'm not going to over winter out of their containers and put the containers with potting mix still in them, under my lean-to off my garage, they sit in there all winter, which is mid October to end of May for me, so about 7 months or so.

Mine did ripen to yellow, so that's a positive, lol. Hopefully future pods are correct pheno.

    pests deficiency? pest?

I don't see any edema, so definitely not that. Likely a lack of one nute or another. Someone else will have better advice than me when it comes to nutes.

    pests deficiency? pest?

I'd still like to see some pics of the underside of those older damaged leaves. The newer growth looks better than those older leaves.

container Reusing compost in a container

I re-use my potting mix every year also. I dump all the previous seasons mix out onto a tarp in the yard and try to add 30% to 50% new potting mix and some additional perlite for the new stuff. Then mix it all up and fill my containers again and fertilize once a week or so with liquid ferts, or...

Uknow 2018 - The Heat is On!

Thanks Scott! It's coming along... It's been a great season with only a couple minor hiccups so far. I'm about 2 weeks behind getting them all potted up, but that's ok, at least they're outside and we have nice weather. Going to be low 80's for the next 2 week's. Supposed to be almost 100 this...

    pests deficiency? pest?

Post some pics of the bottom of your leaves. I suspect Edema from overwatering and those dead spots are where the cells have exploded from too much water and died. Similar spots from my plants earlier this season with edema...

Uknow 2018 - The Heat is On!

So I decided to move some pots and put them in rows of 2, back to back. This will allow more space in between the double rows and also allow the plants to use each other for support. I figure I only need access to one side of each plant. I got more plants potted up, almost done with that...

White, crystal-like stuff on underside of leaves?

I had 4 fans running on mine 24/7 and I didn't water until the plants were wilting and even then barely gave them any water... And they still got it. Unless you have perfect conditions indoors, ive pretty much come to terms with it being unavoidable.

White, crystal-like stuff on underside of leaves?

Yep, edema for sure. Either overwatering, too high of humidity, or not enough airflow. I deal with it every season while mine are indoors before I get them outside.

Uknow 2018 - The Heat is On!

So, looking at the Purple Reaper plant again (aka: The Purple Ripper)   I think it may be last years Reaper crossed with the Fidalga Preto I had, just because of how the pods are shaped, and the pods initial dark green/purple coloring, but the Fildaga Preto ripened to a light orange color for...

    Jedisushi06 2018 grow

Well I'm all caught up! Everything you have going on looks awesome! Everything I planted from the seeds you sent are doing great as well. The only problem I have this year is running out of potting mix. I need to find a source to buy in bulk or something. I need to fill at least another 30 5...

Uknow 2018 - The Heat is On!

Got a few more potted up tonight, mostly Reapers, BrainStrains and Bonnets. Decided to keep my other CP115 after noticing it had pods on it that are much more the shape of last year's... One of my Reapers (I have 4 "different" ones from 3 different sources, lol) has decent...

Quick update with some fresh pics. Lots more work to go yet, but it's coming along. I should have everything I'm keeping into pots this week. I threw one of my JPGS I to that 10gal fabric pot, we'll see how that does vs the 10gal plastic pots. Lots of little baby off-pheno pods already on some...

I'll get some updated pics of mine tonight. My plant I intend to pot up as my keeper has one small off pheno pod on it about the size of a nickel or so.

Uknow 2018 - The Heat is On!

I have a few in pots. I was in Philly most of this week for work and it's been raining almost daily since I got home. I think I'm doing all pots this year. Covering the garden in black weed fabric so I don't have to deal with weeds this year. I put 4 of my 5 overwinters in 15 gallon nursery...
