That's good to hear! Yeah, you also might be better off making a clean cut or a "V" cut with male section on the branch and female on the plant, if you ever try to graft it back together. It does work well though. If you look up Kang Starr on YouTube, he's got some videos of grafted pepper...

You can graft them back together if you catch it soon enough, like same day. I've done it a few times. Some popsicle sticks or anything to support the branch and electrical tape to hold it together. It'll wilt for a few days, then bounce right back and start to heal the break and grow again...

Went up to Lowe's again this weekend, it was hard to only leave with a few, they had a great selection still! Picked up these 3: Gymnocalycium Baldianum... (Long spine pheno) Mammillaria Karwinskiana ssp. Nejapensis var. longispina "Royal Cross" or "Silver Arrows"... (Short spined...

Week out of town. Need concise instructions for young pepper care.

He said they are in 5 gallon pots now. So I would say water each probably the day you leave if they need it. Then another half gallon of just plain water from your caregiver like 4 days later and then you can water them again when you get home if needed. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Uknow's 2019 - Less is More!

Thanks guys! I've been growing for almost 10 years now and I still learn something new every year. Trial and error and all the help from this forum over the years has really helped me out and made me a better grower! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Uknow's 2019 - Less is More!

I trimmed up the bottom 2" of the plants to improve airflow. It's working awesome, soil is already dry and ready for another watering tonight. More waterings = more nutes = bigger faster growing plants! I only trimmed off older bigger leaves, I left any new branch growth. I was watering every...

Haha, yeah it was getting nice, but just got some more snow this week with that storm that came through. Supposed to be mid to high 40's though from here on out so it won't hang around long. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

10 gallon are plenty big enough, even 5 gallon buckets produce good results for me. However, if you can spring it, the 15 gallon pots do produce bigger plants. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Here we go. Some updated pics! Got a new phone also, Google Pixel 3 XL. This thing takes awesome pics! They do get downgraded a bit in quality though when uploading them using the tappatalk app. I think I'm going to trim some of the lower foliage this weekend to improve airflow to the soil...

Thanks guys! I'll get some updated pics posted this weekend. They are getting big FAST. I bumped up my nutes a bit last week. I'm currently watering with 7ml/gal CNS17 grow and 3ml/gal Cal-Mag. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Got some new additions for the collection in the last few weeks. Picket up these 3 from Lowe's last week... Ordered these 8 from Planetdesert.com which is in California. They have a pretty awesome site, huge selection. They just arrived today. Packaging was excellent, these were all...

flavor Which 5k-25k Scoville peppers do you like the taste of most?

Aji Pineapple are great! Somewhere around the 20K scoville range I belive. I made 4 different batches of salsa last year, and the batch with the Aji Pineapple is my favorite by far for flavor.

Update time! Things are going well, I have my 3rd intake fan on the way, should be here tomorrow. I also finally cut 3 exhaust vent holes on the top of the tent, opposite side as the intake fans, so air is moving nicely now and temps are staying right Round 75° to 77°. Humidity in the mid 30's...

Yeah for sure! The flys were insane last year! I'm betting with all this snow/water though, the bugs, especially mosquitos, will be terrible again.
