Was just reading how the whitefly can be detered by marigolds. Have you tried them out yet? They're pretty cheap and you can keep them in their pots moving them around to "quarantine" your infected plants.

Good luck friend! A close friend of mine is doing extensive research on this pest at UF and besides natural enemies it seems like they're impervious to exisitng pesticides and means of mechanical extraction. Let me know if you find somehting that works.

The black jalapeños are from pepper joes website. They go from green to black much quicker than most jalapeños, but they do eventually turn red as you can see. The red ones have a nice sweetness to them. I'd be happy to mail some out but they're pretty cheap from pepper Joe. Just google him...

Is the second one an Anaheim? Looks a little too dark but it's shape and relative size make me think it is.

"2011 Reserve" I wonder what growing season this was. Are some years better than other? (like with wine)

Not sure what's causing some of yours to be larger and others smaller, but I don't think it has to do with the amount of light they're getting. I have a monsterous Anaheim that I didn't even realize was there until I moved a few leaves and branches out of the way that were shading it completely...
