Pardon my ignorance. But would that be just a "Chili pepper" (Like an actual pepper name) or would it just be a vague description of some kind of chili pepper in the Capsicum Annuum Family?
I know its almost impossible to tell what a pepper will be from seedlings but i recently received "Bisbas" Seeds as extra goodies from Pepperlover.com. When specifically looking on google i really didnt find much information on them and when i searched "Bisbas" on Pepperlover.com i didnt find a...
Ordered Twice from pepperlover as per recommendations from other members on the site. Received my first order today (Ordered peter peppers and yellow moruga) Got a TON of seeds of what i ordered and two things of *bonus* seeds (Aji Amarillo, and one Labeled Bisbas) I've never heard of Bisbas...
They' ll have natural light till probably november/December. I live in an older drafty house so depending on IL weather (Who knows really) i may have to pull them away from the window. I dont know very much about pruning the pepper plants so if you know any good articles you could direct me to...
i dont necessarily need to have fruiting plants in the winter, was just wondering how possible it was. My main concern for my older plants is to transplant them from outdoors back inside when the season ends. (probably will transplant them into 5gal buckets or Rubbermade containers.
hard to...
Yeah, i didnt know anything about planting last year and got a wild hair to grow. They did extreme well under the one bulb surprisingly.I planted the outside at the beginning of june when i was sure that there wasnt going to be another frost. (I live in IL). The plants grew like crazy once the...
So this year i plan on growing most of my plants indoors. They'll have plenty of sunlight until october/novemberish when the temperature drops quite significantly in my area and window sills at night would kill the plants. (Old house in Mid/northwest area). So i decided to create a grow room in...
I'm not too worried about it though, I grew the pepper for the fun of it anyways. Ill try again for next season and use seeds from a "approved" vendor.
Finally got a little color, but not from the earliest pods. Actually one of the smaller and younger pods near the base of the plant
And thanks for the offer but i actually got some seeds from Pepperlover.com this time and everyone on here seems to rave about her.
I thought i had origonally had Scorpion peppers and Bhuts, but realized this wasnt the case when i Started to get fruit. My own fault for ordering from ebay for my first time. I didnt know any better!
So i planted my pepper outdoors at the beginning of june ( from already flowering plants grown indoors) and it started to fruit towards mid/ end of june. I have two pepper plants (Neither or which i believe is what i planted) and they seem to be taken forever to ripen. i think one plants peppers...
if you dont mind me asking what is the "ball-park estimate" for a pepper turning? They look like they want to turn yellow or a pale orange but theyve kind kept their Yellow green color for 2 weeks now
Out of curiosity what kind of Habeneros would these be? i have the rounded ones that seem to be lightened up, and the longer ones that seem to be staying green.
Yes Ottawa il. I started to grow them inside last summer and managed to plant them outside after the spring frost.
They were actually supposed to be white jhuts and scorpion peppers.
