So I gave my sister a bunch of plants last fall to over winter and keep. This is either serrano or jalapeno... I think. Prob jalapeno based off the shape of the young pods. But they're the first pods of the year so they could be misshapen? Any input?

Weather has been good, here are a few shots of some of the in ground peppers. I always feel so far behind everyone here, but I have to remind myself that Maine isn't really ideal climate, and I'll be wintering several for a head start next year.

I've heard a qt of 5w30 (synthetic only) twice a week poured over the leaves keeps the plant lubricated so it can grow faster. Just advice from a unbiased 3rd party not involved in the grow.

Transplanted the bonnets. Good healthy root structure in all of them. Went into doubled solo cups, raised the light a few inches to accommodate.

Those MOA seeds have been the rockstars of my grow, germed and sprouted in just a few days, one survived a pretty bad sun burn and is working on its 2nd set of true leaves. Thank you again!

Your grow is looking great! You said early spring a few pages back and jinxed that snow storm upon us. My tulips and hops started coming out that one week we got that was all above 60, now they're all pissed off. I'm coming up there to steal your beautiful plants. Just a heads up.

Things got off to a slow start here, germing some of the chinense took forever! But we're finally rolling. I have the space to over winter so I'm not too concerned if I don't get a ton of pods from them this year. Everything has sprouted at least 1 seedling with the exception of the peach...

My money is on this guy. He'll do damage fast at night. You'll see him hiding on the leaves near the stem during the day, but he's tough to spot if you're not paying close attention. I had an army of them on my Sun golds last year, they tended to stay on one or two plants selectively.

A hot bead seedling said hello today! Making slow progress. Still not sure what's going on with this SB seedling, everything I know says it's Sun burnt, but its 9 inches from the led and it's the only one doing this. At least it's not yellowing any more than before.

Not much new right now, waiting on more hooks. But I am concerned for this little guy. I think he was flying too close to the sun? Or is it something else?
