Yellow fatalli IMO is one of the best tasting hotter peppers.     They're also productive.   I think they have been given less attention recently due to the craze over crosses, but very worth it for sauce making and general use.     I don't have seeds right now but they should be easy to obtain.

Survive, yes.     Was it going into the ground or staying in a pot?    The pot it's in looks small for a plant that size.     I swear some weird accident like this happens to one or more of my plants every year.    You just dont' know where the hits are going to come from.     Good luck.

I planted out two shishitos this week grown from seed (via Chiltepin.)   They were among the first to bloom and the first to set pods.   Loading up with bloom and pods fast.    Woo-hoo!     Thanks for the recipe.

I had two plants from PL seeds last year.    Large, sweet pods with moderate production.   Tasty!
