I keep trying different bacc. to see what suits my local climate.     One sure winner for me is Inca Red Drop.    They fruit early and can stand the heat.  Never had any off taste with them.

May still be Aji Habanero.   They are shorter and fatter than Aji Cito, with little to no heat.    I grew them for 2 years and found them to be very prolific and when indoors under lights they had variegated leaves.     I have 3 Aji Cito's from Pepperlover's stock that are setting pods the same...

The purple and brown are most likely suntan/sunburn.   It won't hurt.   As for the pod shape, it could still be a bonnet.
