    This years HEAT

Vex, also very frustrated here in Iredell County, NC with blossom drop from the heat.     I have some 7 Pot varieties that are 4 feet tall with less than 5 pods on them.      Others have fared much better, like my datil crosses with over 100 pods.    'Maters are OK but could have been so...

Mike, sorry to hijack your thread but your Inbox appears to be full.     Question about some of your pods:     I got a few "Twisted Sinister" seeds from Orekoc this winter and they were from your pods.   I have two plants going that are producing what look like small-ish 7 Pot pods.    From his...

    baccatum Soapy Baccatum Taste

I keep trying different bacc. to see what suits my local climate.     One sure winner for me is Inca Red Drop.    They fruit early and can stand the heat.  Never had any off taste with them.

I agree with Smokemaster on conditions being very influential on the soap/perfume taste.   Weather, soil, and temps change a lot about pods.   I grew Brazilian Starfish one year, three big plants absolutely loaded with pods that were too funky tasting for me to eat.   Mixed results with other...

    Joyner's What am I?

May still be Aji Habanero.   They are shorter and fatter than Aji Cito, with little to no heat.    I grew them for 2 years and found them to be very prolific and when indoors under lights they had variegated leaves.     I have 3 Aji Cito's from Pepperlover's stock that are setting pods the same...

pod Supposed to be a Yellow Hab, Cross Reverting back to Motor Plant

The purple and brown are most likely suntan/sunburn.   It won't hurt.   As for the pod shape, it could still be a bonnet.
