It is. Everyone puts in seeds in from their own saved seeds and takes from the seeds others have put in.

Dried pods are ok. I like to either make up many small packs of 10 seeds or one larger bag for people to take from. I recommend putting a stick on label on the bag with all the relevant information written on it. Writing directly to the plastic bag does not last very long.

I prefer it over the reaper/ primo. The Fatalii genetics improve the flavor a lot.

He used to have the best genetics on chocolate reapers. I seldom see chocolate reapers that actually look like their red counterpart. His did.

As long as it was close to ripening, the seeds should germinate. But if you are looking for a mild but flavorful jalapeño, I’d recommend the brown jalapeño. Grow them until the ripen fully brown. They are fantastic pickled into slices.

It seems the stripy genetics throw out an occasional all red pod. Totally normal for that variety.

The Korean hot pepper (I assume a cayenne type) they use for Gochugaru/ kimchi. I’ve grown them a few years back and was very happy with the flavor.

Aji pineapple, KSLS, tangerine TS
