Later in the growing season some of my lemon drops will even look purplish in spots.  

My best advice is to grow more stuff so each plant gets stared at less.  LOL...

I once got a, "Hungarian wax" pepper that started yellow.  Looked just like yours.  Ended up almost a ghostly pale cream color.   I think it was some sort of cross and closest to a sweet banana more than anything..

Do you have any fold up plastic tables?  Move the plants under them during the rain and on top when not raining.  Any overhangs on your house?  I use a combination of these since I had sooo many plants.  

I always thought purple meant a phosphorus deficiency?

All my plants are inside right now.  i left them out the night before (east) and they don't look too happy.  Not bad, just not as green as they could be.  Should have taken them in for both days/nights.  Eh a couple sunny days and they will green up more.  But I think that cool snap likely...

Well you made me feel better about transplanting into bigger pots.  All that work for a few weeks.... Arrghh...  But they could not stay the way they were for even a few more days,  so I had to do something.   It has been so warm that I was contemplating throwing my plants into the garden sooner...
