Thought this was a scorpion while they were green

Now I don't know what it is.  Heat and flavour are very habanero.  All the pods look like this.  They ripen just like a hab, green > orange > red.  I did plant some habaneros this year but nothing that looked like this.

    Whats trimming my bush?

It is probably a hummingbird moth.  They can be kind of freaky looking first time you see them.  I agree with moruga welder & JoynersHotPeppers looks like a tomato horn worm.

It isn't very scary looking but this little beauty is the hottest thing I have had this summer so far.  Colour is a bit off on the pictures.  It is more orange than yellow.  I blame the piss poor camera in my phone.

    Brown Moruga Thread

The first set of pods on mine is off pheno.  The higher pod set is on but smaller.  Here is the first ripe one of the year.

    Red Habanero variety?

They look like they could be Ugandan or maybe Guadalupe habaneros.  They do look very similar to some red savina habs that I grew last year as well, though this year that same plant is putting out red pumpkins so who knows.

Help me confirm Scorpion or Ghost..

I agree, the first few pods to set on my moruga look off, more like a 7 pot.  The upper pods (round 2?) have the distinctive moruga shape.  Only on one plant though the other 2 set proper looking pods right from the start.
