Thanks a lot. After reading that I plan to do some pruning and topping. By chance does anyone know how big the sarina pod should be to chop it off and be edible? What is the advantage of chopping off the bottom leavs that touch the soil? Is it for disease prevention?

Do you have any particular tutorial or instructions on properly topping? I would screw it up if I try without researching.

just got some new plants to have some harvest while the seedlings are developing... some even came with pods already!    

So since I started my seeds less than a month ago, I decided to order a few other varieties that had already been started... When they arrived today I was pleasantly surprised to see that 3 out of 7 already had pods growing. The bad part is, we are currently under a Tropical Storm warning so...

  I may need to look into that considering there has been white fuzz growth and strand looking things on the surface of the soil as well.         Ok good, I didn't think it was harmful but being this new at it I didn't want to risk loosing any plants due to not asking people with the knowledge.

  Thanks for the help StupidJerk, I have lowered all of the lights to within about an inch from the tallest seeling (which a few of them have four leaves at least now) and have the fan setup at a good angle with a moderate wind strength.          Haha, thanks Natty. You guys are amazing. I was freaking out... so I have some work to do I see... never heard of a mosquito dunk. And it was just yesterday I was going to start bottom watering.

Thanks I have been wondering when the best time to remove the lids would be. I even tried some lids with holes to allow the plant to breath better. I put the holes in yesterday and they have already sped up growth so I think I'm going to take your advice and remove all of the lids tonight. As...
