and thanks for my new plants :) I think the Manzano might be a Red variety, unsure. I got it from CPI, where they just listed it as "Rocoto" with a picture of a red pepper.

Looks like I've got three little sprouts going, hoping to clear up some space and get them into fancy, highfalutin party cups soon. I thought I only had 2 going, then one just randomly appeared and shot up like a rocket the other day, huzzah! Watch out, one of them is gonna be the plant to beat :D

I like it. Trying to get around my lights is going to be a bear. I also like the square shaped pots...red solo cups are cheap, but round isn't as efficient :)

That might work, I'd need a pretty big tray, though. I don't have to water the germ trays cell by cell, but once they move up to cups, I have roughly a 4x2' area full of cups that I'd need to fill. I'll keep an eye out for stuff that will fill it :)

I've made habanero poppers, before. One interesting thing I discovered when making jalapeno poppers - We fried them, first, but then froze them afterwards, followed by baking them before consuming. For some reason the texture was better.

Almost wonder if getting a parrot and feeding it pepper seeds would help germination :)
