I too am on the same level with the habs and jalps. I ate a orange hab last night and tasted a super sweetness I've never tasted before. An got the heat I use to get from jalaps. Loving the new tolorance tho.

Whats happening to my sons bells

A quick solution I read or watched some where is grind or crush a hand full of Tums yea the antacid. Mix in a gallon of water and water thoroughly with the mix. I haven't tried this. Just going on heresay. But some swear by it for a quick fix.

    hp22b!

I will say I'm guilty of ordering the seeds. Just curious how a stated 1.474ish millions units is a new world record? As didn't the Morouga clock 2 mil? On the high side? So is the 1.474ish overall average testing? Will grow it just to see.

pics how much longer until peppers start growing? (pics)

I'm no expert take what I say with a grain of salt, lol! But stop the MG use let them do their thing. They look plenty healthy veg wise. An MG just keeps them in an all veg mode. An mine took about a month from that size to their first pods. Then roughly two months for picking ripe pods. An I...

a serious question about bhut jolokia

+1 Spongey, I have noticed my bhuts turn red overnight it seems like when there's pods on the plants and temps are high. Then when the temps cool especially at night they go threw the orange phase slower and longer. My caribbean reds also did this, this year when the temps first dropped below 70...

    hp22b!

Well here is my problem with PepperJoe. I hit him up on the 18th, willing to pay what him and Ed were asking. An I'm pretty sure they said the 24th was the dead line for THP members? An now I've been told I'm on a notification list? With no responding emails? With no emails returned? Apparently...

    storage Pod smoking and freezing?

Lmao Balac. An thanks Salsa Lady. Was thinking it would have to be a process like that. As the smoke would pull out some of the oils and cause them all to stick together in the freezer bag. This will make it much easier than smoking for each meal.

    storage Pod smoking and freezing?

Have always frozen my fresh pods sliced in half. Just wondering if anyone has ever smoked their fresh pods first, then froze them? An if so, did it work well? As I'm considering doing this, this year. Just to eaze the process. As smoking 1-2 frozen pods for each cooking use is getting tedious.

Pods size get smaller as the plant age?

I can't contribute to overwintered plants. As I have never over wintered on. But in my past two years of growing bhuts. I have noticed the first pods set are larger than the ones that follow. By the end of the growing season pods are rippening at half the size at the first ones.

Been looking at full-sized, green pods for a month now...

I too am now aboard this patience train. Been watching pods for what seems to be 1 1/2 months now. The only thing that turned so far is some orange habs and, a couple of caribbean reds. Just now getting a jamaican hot choc turning. An one of my green yellow cardi pods seems to be getting sun...

I'm sick, I think I've killed my whole garden!

Should know by the smell of it. Sevin has a distinct smell. Kind of like a dark cellar/earthy smell IMO. I too use it in serious times can't forget that smell. Side note, an don't wanna thread jack. But since liquid sevin has been brought up. Has anyone used the new Garden Tech Worry-free...

I'm sick, I think I've killed my whole garden!

+1 herbicides can stick around for 14 days. If not more, depending on the product. This is why my backpack sprayer is only used for herbicide/insecticide around the house. An now I have a handfull of hand held sprayers for the garden.

Mold Inside Pods - There's a Fungus Among Us

I too am experiencing this again. Had it last year in my red bhuts. Now this year have already experienced it with 2 out of 3 orange habs and 1 out of 2 caribbean reds. All that have ripened so far. I am on the look out for the solution too. An treat about every two weeks with bonide fruits and...
