Does all this also apply for hydroponic systems?
Ive had some issues recently :/ I've tried DW liquid, but I think I used one of those 'natural' brands so it made it worse.
So plant seems to be recovering nicely from the infestation.
as a gift I've bought her some LED's
With help and some guidance from Jason, I found this. http://www.aquastyleonline.com/products/Aquarium-24-LEDs-DIY-Kit.html
Can't wait for this one to arive
Lucky thing about where I live is that we very rarely get hail.. and on the rare occasion if we do it's tennis ball sized so the plants are either fine or dead.
But I do hope they recover nicely :)
Your grow is still looking awesome.
Spoke too soon
Could it be the brand of dishwashing liquid? because I gave them a good soaking in it with no luck :/
I did just bust out the fly spray. That got rid of them pretty quickly... although I don't know how the plant will like that :S
I think I may have found a reason?
Found this on one of the branches up the back where I normally cant see :(
My god..... :flamethrower: :flamethrower: :flamethrower:
Update.
So garden plants are coming along great. the recent sun has set them into bloom mode :)
And the DWC setup is coming along nicely :) had a little aphid outbreak, the dishwashing liquid seemed to make it worse :( so used some pyrethrin and killed them all :)
Hey guys,
Just wondering if this is completely normal for a DWC Scotch Bonnet?
The plant is as healthy as ever (apart from some aphids every now and then) and has tons of flowers, but the fruit percentage is about 10% or something like that.
I try to pollinate them myself using a q-tip and...
Yes to both, the mat and the dome are just for seeds to germinate I'm pretty sure. Once you have the sprouts the mat can go off and the dome taken off.
It may be different here in Australia because it's a whole heap warmer though.
Some good news, the garden is bouncing back after the savage beatdown it received.
Some of the flowers are taking hold and fruiting :)

Habanero

Some of the ex-DWC and the seedlings that came out from the shed
Hey! I'm getting there :P
But be assured, after this season I'll make some Bonnet flakes and use that on my pizza instead of the cayenne that I use at the moment :P
And any amazing sauce recipes are welcome to culture me :P or can accept donations of chillies :drooling:
