As long as there's no frost they will be ok. My tabascos took a while to ripen to up in our northern climate. If you would like to grow them again next year star a month earlier.

I have never smoked before and need some tips for smoking some ribs on my gas grill. I know the how to set up the wood chips but need some tips for rubs and cooking times or if I need to precook the ribs at all?

I remove seeds before drying them, put them on a paper towel for a few weeks and good to go.

Mine works fine at 130F 12 hours and they're brittle.

+1 It's weird about the savina though. The ones I grew and have seen, mostly look like a large red hab. I noticed on chileman they have them shown as looking like the ones in this thread, almost like caribbean red habs. I wonder which ones are true savinas? Here's a vid from Neil that look...

I thought Savinas were dark green to start, less uniform and less pendant looking.

Caribbean red habs. Did you happen to get the seeds from seedrack? I've seen tons of Bhuts turn out tho be C red habs this year.

Ahhhhhhhhhh I thought those were bonda mas. You didn't mention fatali's in your post thats why I assumed you thought they were bonda ma's. Which ones are then, I still don't see them in the pic?
