Aphids, thrips, mites? pretty much whatever!

I was wondering if a follow up application would be safe. Now I know and thanks CAPCON.

Aphids, thrips, mites? pretty much whatever!

Here's my update 10 days after the application.   It seems to be a complete success!  I had two Reapers, one Red Caribbean, and a Sweet Potato Vine that were covered with Aphids. I've been checking on them every few days and each time I think I see some on one of the plants I grab a magnifying...

Aphids, thrips, mites? pretty much whatever!

As we are experiencing some great warm December weather, I took my plants outside and blasted them with a hose to hopefully remove as many Aphids and Volk Oil as possible. After they dried off I mixed up some of the Guardian and drenched the plant as per the instructions. I gave the plants a...

Aphids, thrips, mites? pretty much whatever!

I recieved my sample the other day, unfortunately my mom is in the hospital, so pepper plants are not on the top of the list.   I do have a question and hopefully someone can help. I have aphids that showed up shortly after bringing the plants inside. I used Volk Oil on them about a month ago...

    Double Flower

I was checking my Red Caribbean plant today and saw an unusual flower, it appeared as though two flowers grew out of one stalk. The stalk is twice as wide as a normal one. I don't know if this is common, but thought some people might like to see it.

How to tell when it's time to change T5 bulbs

T5 bulbs can lose as much as 40% of their output within 18 months. This information is from my days of keeping reef aquariums where lighting is one of the major factors of success.   Do you need to replace them that often for growing plants? I can't say, as with an aquarium you need the light to...

Carolina Reaper flowers falling off !?

I'm having a similar problem. I have a lot of purple on the branches of the plant, it follows to the stems of the flowers and they appear to be pinched at the point wher the flower stalk meets the branch. Is the purple a clue to possibly too much nitrogen or is it a normal coloration for a reaper?

    pests Pest or nutrient problem

Thanks Romy.   I did a search for BLS and the skim milk treatment. I found a decent amount of info on the BLS, but not much on the treatment. If I cold pick your brain on your process of treating this. How often do you spray the plant and do you spray or drench the soil?   Thanks again.

    pests Pest or nutrient problem

Hello all,    I saved a very small and barely alive Red Carribean Habenaro plant from a local garden center late into August. The plant was maybe 5" tall with only a couple of leaves on it. I did manage to get it to grow out decently for the short timeI've had it and have probably harvested...
