Nice. I had my JalapeƱo plant do that. I had to trim off 2 leafs. They tore when I touched them. Very delicate. Good job on the video.

    Mildew??

Yes cutting the leaves off stunt the growth for a few weeks, if you don't you risk the chance of the plant oozing (leaking fluid) to death. Aphids are like death from a 1000 cuts. A few won't hurt, but an infestation can kill a plant. Once the leaf is that damaged it will not function as normal...

I love the hardwood ones for firewood. I get about 20 every year for firewood. To supplement other firewood. Nice project about recycling.

    Mildew??

I have had aphid damage like this before. I usually cut the leaves off to save the plant.

    Mildew??

That is aphid damage on the underside. I usually cut those leafs off if possible. Those leafs are loosing to much fluid.

My peppers have big roots but wont grow

When ever I transplant from one pot to another I give my plants Vitamin B-1. This helps with plant stress. I also use it when the plant is having stress issues, too hot, too cold, etc. It is like Valium for the plant.

    cloning 16 site EZ-Cloner...

I've been busy working lately. Have left this 16 site cloner alone. Just refilled it with some water and Clear Rez on Thursday. Had to trim off a tomato leaf that wilted. The cuttings are getting root nodes. Will post pics tomorrow. Cuttings are looking good.

    cloning 16 site EZ-Cloner...

Nice score. I'm loving my EZ-Cloner. Very well made. Can't wait for my roses. This is my new favorite place to buy stuff. Still takes 1/2 an hour 1 way from my house with no traffic. Could be 1 hour with traffic. We have the worlds largest parking lots here in Southern California (freeways).

    cloning 16 site EZ-Cloner...

I think I'm just late to the game on the tech stuff. I'm still learning. I have tried to clone in dirt & peat moss with very limited success. I have tried many times to clone roses in soil. No success. I hope to be successful in cloning roses this way. I have some hybrid roses plants I would...

water Hard water where you live....

Sounds like well water. That is super hard water. I only justified the cost by hooking it up to the fridge for drinking water. Where I live the city uses a lot of well water. To me is doesn't taste very well. I drink a lot more now because it taste better. Saves the fridge filter too.

    cloning 16 site EZ-Cloner...

I trimmed some foliage back... I sometimes spend my lunches looking thru the used gear. Kind of like a thrift shop. The hardest thing to clone for me has been roses. Will see how I do this time.

    germination frustration :(

I hit a bad spot last year with similar results. I now soak them in Salt Peter and water. I think 1tsp per quart. Soak for 24 hours to soften seed coat. Rinse with water then germinate in damp paper towel & plastic bag. Once germinated, remove seeds with hooks and plant with the hook down. I...

    cloning 16 site EZ-Cloner...

Well I broke down and picked up a EZ-Cloner. I got it on sale for $99. It is a 16 site unit. I also picked up some hard collars for it. I don't like the soft collars. No one around locally could match that price. http://www.discount-hydro.com No I don't work for them or receive any thing in...

My first functional Ebb & Flood setup

Here is my semi finished setup. On the 2x2 table I have 12 varieties of peppers that I will keep. The larger white containers are duplicate pepper plants. They are for family & co-workers. I still need to make room for my new ez-cloner.
