hydroponic Peppers on deep water culture hydroponics

I agree with Pex. You want the red 360 sprayers. I bought mine at the local hydro shop for about 50 cents each. I used these in my home built cloner. I used yellow silicone rubber to block the side I didn't want water to shoot out of. By the way, the black and blue 180 deg ones from local...

I added some more plants for a total of 11 plants. My Lucky Bamboo was growing I guess in a DWC before. Some good roots. When the roots are orangish red they are very healthy. Here is a bunch of roots in DWC. These plants in the DWC pot setup have no more room to grow. They were...

vendor Ebay seller stole my photo...

Now that we are in a digital age, almost nothing is impossible. I still love my days in the darkroom, and developing 50+ rolls of T-Max film pushed to ISO 6400. Kids these days are spoiled with point, shoot, and delete or right click "save as". I remember when I was using a light meter to...

    Grr....thrips

I have only had thrips outside. I use insecticidal soap. It is very safe. It contains potassium fatty acid. It usually kills on contact or within a few seconds. I would be worried about any eggs they left... The insecticidal soap is safe to use inside. I would check every 3 days for a month...

    Mystery hot pepper...Help...

When I tasted a green on a few months ago, it had the heat of a Habanero. Much hotter than a JalapeƱo. I have not tasted a red one yet.

My first functional Ebb & Flood setup

I think completely empty it was about 2 gallons. The Hydrocorn was pre washed, and then placed in the container. I think with the displacement of the rock and such it now holds less than a gallon before the siphon drain kicks in. Because these cuttings have no roots, I will be testing its...

Ever since the time I lived in Hammond Louisiana, I can't get enough of Roast Beef Po Boy sandwiches. I just ate dinner, but want Phil's sandwich now. Looks good Phil. I could almost taste it from here.
