Everything is still green, but have picked 3 red reapers so far.  The Moruga is finally starting to grow pods.  Pretty excited for the next few weeks when they start ripening :)

Thanks!  Once the storms pass I give them a feeding.  Now it only rains once a day, about the same as me watering them.  They are a lot bigger in person than the pics show for some reason. And temps being in the 80's means that all of the flowers are setting now.   There's still plenty of time...

The day before the storm!  Invest 95L will be hitting tonight sometime. It's been sunny all day, so I gave them a big feeding of fish emulsion this morning.    Good size now, and a few peppers here and there.  We've had a bit, 2-3 degree, of a cool spell and some flowers have stuck around and...

    TheGreenChileMonster 2018

Just posting a few pics of the prize sauces at my work.  The boys are tearing in and really loving the sauce!  The bajan is the clear favorite, with the peach bhut at #2.  I was told to ask you  for the recipe for the bajan!

    Hot weather capsicum pubescens?

I usually germinate my supers in a germ chamber with a heating pad.  Do you think I should just try these at room temp, 71-2F?

What are you adding to next years grow?

Brazilian Starfish because I hear that they taste so good. Aribibi Guasano since they look crazy and I want to taste them. Something sweet and below habanero heat for my wife.  She recently started to challenge herself and can now eat jalapenos raw.  Some bubblegums because I want to taste them...

    Hot weather capsicum pubescens?

I don't have an area that is shaded for more than a few hours at a time, but I do have some 40% shadecloth that I can try and use.  I need to order some seeds and see if I can get a few to pop.

    Hot weather capsicum pubescens?

I might have to try growing one as an indoor plant and move it outside in October.  Our summers here are brutal and I have no hope of growing any outdoors.  We can't grow lettuce except from March to June and then again in October to December.
