    Lespaulde 2019 Season

Harvest of Biker Bill's jalapeños, Aji Pineapples, Lemon Starrbursts, Foodorama SB, a Sugar Rush Peach and some Sri Lankan Reds. You can see more of those weird cherry looking jalas... And another harvest of Biker Bill / Early jalapeños and SLRs.

    Lespaulde 2019 Season

The Purple BJ in all its glory, with a variety of colors showing. I love this plant and the pods with a tie-wrap connected to them are the crosses with Aji Mango and Aji Pineapple, so let's see if they work out in the end. I love how you have purple, green, orange (and even a hint of yellow) and...

    Lespaulde 2019 Season

The youngest plant of them all, the Numex Orange Spice jalapeño - it actually took over the overwintered plant in terms of size and production, but given the extensive spider mite infestation, it's not a fair comparison. Still, not sure it's worth overwintering C. Annuums, but I will be sure to...

    Lespaulde 2019 Season

The Foodarama SB - not sure what the experts say, but I don't quite think it looks like an SB at all. Perhaps it was crossed with something, but the seeds came from chili-shop24.com which I thought to be a reliable vendor. It can happen though of course, that things accidentally get mixed up...

    Lespaulde 2019 Season

Finally some time for another update. Things have been chugging along slowly but surely, and we did end up having a few decent weeks of weather, but overall it's been a pretty abysmal summer for pepper growing, and I'm taking all the pods I am getting as a bonus. Luckily I am definitely able to...

PaulG 2019 - Three Gallon Grow

Haha, it literally looks like the young apple tree we just planted at home - definitely an ambitious fella! Nice to see production has started for you my friend, harvesting is seriously one of the best times too :) Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

contest Growdown Throwdown 2019 Sri Lanka - Chilli Red!

Another weekend, another pull... 137g + 109g = 246g until now. With the cold autumn weather pulling in, I'm not counting on more pods setting, so hopefully the existing ones will still ripen in time... What are people using them for? I started dehydrating, which really brings out the sweet in...

contest Growdown Throwdown 2019 Sri Lanka - Chilli Red!

36g + 101g = 137g total so far. With what's still waiting to ripen, I'm hoping for at least 2-3 more of these pulls, but nowhere near as much as some of you in better climates are harvesting... The plant has definitely gotten huge though, will post a pic at the end as it's too intertwined with...

Any Scotch Bonnets without that typical Chinense / Habanero flavor?

Thanks, that sounds like an awesome pepper to try! Is it also very fruity like e.g. the BOC? Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

Any Scotch Bonnets without that typical Chinense / Habanero flavor?

Dear all, I'm on the lookout for more Chinense varieties that don't have that typical Chinense flavor, or perhaps better referred to as the habanero flavor. It seems I'm not alone in the fact of finding them taste a bit 'chemical'...

contest Growdown Throwdown 2019 Sri Lanka - Chilli Red!

Alright, finally managed to get a small pull off my contest plant - at least I've made it in the board, that's already a win in my book... ;) 36g, with plenty more hanging to ripen Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

    WHP 2019

Awesome grow list, no wonder your webshop is so full of goodies! Looking to place an order myself later this year, just going to be tough to be selective :) Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

    PaulG 2019

I see this a lot too! So far, I attributed this to high humidity, as all the plants in my greenhouse suffer from this, but not the ones out in the open. I can see that out in the open, they become much more brittle, due to actually drying out, whereas the humid ones stay more kind of leathery...

CaneDog 2019 Hirsute Pursuit – Rocotos, Wilds & Moar

    Lespaulde 2019 Season

Hahaha, you were both pretty good with your guesses; it was 83 pods to be precise! Now I gotta go buy a dehydrator and turn them into flakes / powder... But yes, the root mass was mad, the thing was drinking a gallon of nutes every 4 days. And yes, well remembered CD, I am starting the...

    Lespaulde 2019 Season

So, managed to convince myself it really was time to cull the Lemon Starrburst in the tent, as I need space for a small late season grow and I'm still not the biggest fan of its flavor. Luckily taste is very personal so I'm by no means saying it's a bad tasting pepper, but it's just not quite my...
