    reapers are the clear winner this year but the others still havent given up.                   trippauls still pumping out pods     my gf found this monster sulu adana growing huge without a care in the world about the season changing.

    this was the big red rocoto i was able to save from the blistering summer.  she just now is trying to reward me for all the extra care.  i plan to over winter this one.   ive got my  fingers crossed to get at least one ripe pod.

    i went to check on my garden after the remnants of the hurricane came through from the gulf.  no damage but found a few surprises.  my 5 reaper plants went crazy during the week.   the wild variation in the phenotype on these reapers is shocking. the plants all came from the same pods seeds...
